This policy explains how hatelog handles information in the CapyStat Android app and in voluntary support correspondence. CapyStat is a free, on-device system-monitoring app.
Summary: CapyStat processes system measurements on your device. It does not upload those measurements to hatelog, require an account, or include advertising or analytics SDKs. Display preferences are stored locally. Android backup and any support email you choose to send are described separately below.
1. Information processed on your device
When you start monitoring, CapyStat reads available CPU frequencies, device-wide memory and storage usage, total received and transmitted network-byte counters, and battery temperature. These values provide the floating mascot, status panel, and temporary graph. The CPU graph represents frequency-based activity, not a measurement of actual CPU utilization.
Network speed is calculated from aggregate byte counters. CapyStat does not inspect network packets, message contents, browsing history, destination addresses, or the contents of other apps. Storage monitoring reads capacity figures, not your files.
Measurements and graph samples are held temporarily in memory during monitoring. The app does not save a persistent measurement history or send measurements to a developer-operated server. It pauses sampling while the screen is off and refreshes when the screen becomes interactive again.
2. Information the app does not request or transmit
CapyStat does not request your name, email address, phone number, account credentials, precise location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or document contents. It does not upload IP addresses, screen-visit records, usage-duration logs, advertising identifiers, or crash reports to hatelog.
The app has no account registration, login, advertisements, in-app purchases, analytics SDK, or developer-operated backend. It does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-app tracking. It does not request Android's internet permission.
3. Local settings and Android backup
The app saves your selected display options, such as whether to show CPU, memory, storage, network speed, or temperature, in Android app-specific preferences. These settings remain until changed or removed from the device.
Android backup is enabled for the app. Depending on your device, Android version, and backup settings, the operating system may back up or transfer app settings and restore them on a device. This is separate from any developer-operated data collection. hatelog does not receive or have access to those system backups. Measurement history is not stored by CapyStat for backup.
You can manage system backups through your device or backup-account settings. Deleting local app data does not necessarily delete a separate system backup, and a backup may restore preferences after reinstallation.
4. Permissions and user controls
- Display over other apps: places the mascot and status panel above other apps. It does not grant CapyStat access to the content of their screens.
- Foreground service, including special-use service: maintains user-started monitoring while the app's main screen is closed. Android manages the service notification and its visibility according to system settings and notification permissions.
- Battery optimization settings: the app can open the system settings list if you choose to change battery restrictions. An exemption is optional; the app does not request the direct battery-optimization exemption permission.
You can stop monitoring with the stop control in the status panel, revoke overlay access in Android settings, or stop the app using available system controls.
5. Voluntary support email
If you email HatelogOfficial@gmail.com, hatelog receives your email address, the message, and any attachments or other information you choose to send. This information is used to respond to your request, troubleshoot the issue you report, and keep necessary correspondence about that request. It is not used for advertising or marketing.
Support correspondence is handled through Gmail. Google processes email according to its applicable terms and privacy policy. Email-provider processing may occur outside your country. CapyStat itself does not send app measurements or settings to the mailbox.
Where applicable, hatelog processes support correspondence for the legitimate interest of answering your request and, when necessary, to comply with legal obligations. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details, or other information unnecessary to resolve your request.
6. Sharing and external services
hatelog does not sell personal information or share app measurements for advertising or analytics. Support correspondence may be processed by the email provider, disclosed when required by applicable law, or used as necessary to address abuse or protect legal rights.
Android system services, app stores, email providers, and external websites operate under their own policies. When this policy is hosted online, its hosting provider may process technical access information, such as an IP address, to deliver and secure the webpage. That website access is separate from CapyStat's on-device measurements. This HTML document itself contains no scripts, embedded analytics, tracking pixels, or external fonts.
7. Retention and deletion
- Measurements: used temporarily during monitoring, without a persistent measurement-history database.
- Local settings: you can remove them using Android Settings → Apps → CapyStat → Storage → Clear storage/data. Uninstalling normally removes the app's local data; separate backup copies are controlled by Android and your backup provider.
- Support correspondence: retained only while needed to resolve and follow up on the inquiry. Once that purpose ends, it is deleted without undue delay unless retention is necessary for a legal obligation or an ongoing dispute. You may request deletion at the contact address above; any applicable retention restriction will be explained in the response.
The email provider's deletion, backup, and security-log processes follow its own policies. There is no CapyStat account to delete. hatelog cannot remotely retrieve or delete settings, measurements, or backups on your device or in your system backup account.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, request portability, or complain to a data-protection authority. Contact the address above to make a request concerning information held by hatelog. We may ask only for information reasonably necessary to verify and handle your request and will respond within applicable legal time limits.
9. Children
The app does not ask users, including children, to create an account or submit personal information, and it has no advertising or behavioral tracking. Please do not send a child's personal details in support correspondence unless necessary and legally permitted. Where parental or guardian authorization is required for processing a child's personal information, that authorization is required. If you believe a child has sent personal information to hatelog, contact us so it can be addressed and deleted unless the law requires retention.
This privacy policy does not set a minimum app-use age or replace the age-rating and target-audience information on the app store.
10. Security and policy changes
Local preferences use Android app-specific storage. hatelog limits use of support correspondence to the purposes above and takes reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized access. If a breach involving information held by hatelog requires notification, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.
Changes will be published in an updated policy with a revised effective date. If future versions add accounts, advertising, analytics, or external data transmission, the policy will be updated to describe those practices, with any disclosures or consent required by law.

1. 기기에서 처리하는 정보
사용자가 모니터링을 시작하면 제공 가능한 CPU 주파수, 기기 전체의 메모리·저장공간 사용량, 네트워크 수신·송신 누적 바이트 수, 배터리 온도를 읽습니다. 이 값은 화면 위 카피바라, 상태 패널, 임시 그래프를 표시하는 데 사용됩니다. CPU 그래프는 주파수 기반 상태이며 실제 CPU 사용률을 측정한 값이 아닙니다.
네트워크 속도는 기기 전체의 누적 전송량 차이로 계산합니다. 패킷, 메시지 본문, 방문 기록, 통신 상대 주소, 다른 앱의 내용을 읽지 않습니다. 저장공간 측정은 용량 정보만 읽으며 파일 본문을 읽지 않습니다.
측정값과 그래프 표본은 모니터링 중 메모리에 일시적으로 유지됩니다. 측정 이력을 영구 저장하거나 개발자 서버에 전송하지 않습니다. 화면이 꺼지면 측정을 일시 중지하고, 화면이 다시 활성화되면 갱신합니다.
2. 앱에서 요구하거나 전송하지 않는 정보
이름, 이메일 주소, 전화번호, 계정 인증정보, 정확한 위치, 연락처, 카메라, 마이크, 사진, 문서 본문을 요구하지 않습니다. IP 주소, 화면 방문 기록, 앱 이용 시간 기록, 광고 식별자, 오류 보고서를 hatelog에 전송하지 않습니다.
회원가입, 로그인, 광고, 인앱 결제, 분석 SDK, 개발자가 운영하는 백엔드가 없습니다. 쿠키, 추적 픽셀, 앱 간 추적을 사용하지 않으며 Android 인터넷 권한을 요청하지 않습니다.
3. 로컬 설정과 Android 백업
CPU·메모리·저장공간·네트워크 속도·온도를 표시할지 선택한 값은 Android의 앱 전용 설정 저장소에 저장됩니다. 설정은 사용자가 변경하거나 기기에서 삭제할 때까지 유지됩니다.
앱은 Android 시스템 백업을 허용합니다. 기기, Android 버전, 백업 설정에 따라 운영체제가 앱 설정을 백업·이전하거나 복원할 수 있습니다. 이는 개발자가 운영하는 데이터 수집과 별개이며 hatelog는 해당 백업을 받거나 열람할 수 없습니다. CapyStat은 백업할 측정 이력을 저장하지 않습니다.
백업은 기기 또는 백업 계정의 설정에서 관리할 수 있습니다. 기기의 앱 데이터를 삭제해도 별도 시스템 백업까지 삭제되는 것은 아니며, 재설치할 때 백업에서 설정이 복원될 수 있습니다.
4. 권한과 사용자 제어
- 다른 앱 위에 표시: 카피바라와 상태 패널을 다른 앱 위에 표시합니다. 이 권한으로 다른 앱 화면의 내용을 읽지는 않습니다.
- 특수 용도를 포함한 포그라운드 서비스: 앱의 메인 화면을 닫아도 사용자가 시작한 모니터링 서비스를 유지합니다. 서비스 알림과 알림 표시 여부는 Android의 설정 및 알림 권한에 따라 관리됩니다.
- 배터리 최적화 설정: 사용자가 원하면 시스템 설정 목록을 엽니다. 최적화 제외는 선택 사항이며 직접 제외를 요청하는 권한은 사용하지 않습니다.
상태 패널의 모니터링 종료 버튼, Android의 오버레이 권한 해제 또는 시스템이 제공하는 앱 중지 기능으로 모니터링을 중단할 수 있습니다.
5. 자발적인 문의 이메일
HatelogOfficial@gmail.com으로 문의하면 hatelog는 발신 이메일 주소, 메시지, 사용자가 보내기로 선택한 첨부파일 등 정보를 받습니다. 이 정보는 문의 답변, 사용자가 제보한 문제 확인, 해당 문의에 필요한 후속 연락에 사용하며 광고나 마케팅에 사용하지 않습니다.
문의는 Gmail을 통해 처리됩니다. Google의 이메일 처리는 해당 서비스의 약관 및 개인정보처리방침에 따르며 거주 국가 외의 지역에서 이루어질 수 있습니다. CapyStat 앱이 측정값이나 설정을 문의 메일함으로 자동 전송하지는 않습니다.
적용되는 법률에 따라 문의 응대라는 정당한 이익 및 필요한 법적 의무 이행을 근거로 문의 정보를 처리합니다. 답변에 필요하지 않은 비밀번호, 결제정보 등 민감한 내용을 보내지 마세요.
6. 공유와 외부 서비스
hatelog는 개인정보를 판매하지 않으며 앱 측정값을 광고·분석 목적으로 공유하지 않습니다. 문의 내용은 이메일 제공업체에서 처리하거나, 적용 법률상 요구되는 경우 또는 악용 대응·법적 권리 보호에 필요한 경우에 한해 제공될 수 있습니다.
Android 시스템 서비스, 앱 스토어, 이메일 제공업체 및 외부 웹사이트에는 각 서비스의 방침이 적용됩니다. 이 방침을 웹에 게시하면 호스팅 제공업체가 페이지 제공과 보안을 위해 IP 주소 등의 기술적 접속정보를 처리할 수 있습니다. 이는 CapyStat의 기기 내 측정과 별개입니다. 이 HTML 문서에는 스크립트, 내장 분석 도구, 추적 픽셀, 외부 글꼴이 없습니다.
7. 보관과 삭제
- 측정값: 모니터링 중 일시적으로 사용하며 영구적인 측정 이력 데이터베이스를 만들지 않습니다.
- 로컬 설정: Android 설정 → 앱 → CapyStat → 저장공간 → 데이터 삭제에서 제거할 수 있습니다. 일반적으로 앱을 삭제하면 기기의 앱 데이터도 제거되지만, 별도 백업 사본은 Android와 백업 제공업체의 설정에 따라 관리됩니다.
- 문의 내용: 문의 해결 및 필요한 후속 처리 기간에 한해 보관하며, 목적이 끝나면 지체 없이 삭제합니다. 다만 법적 의무나 진행 중인 분쟁 대응에 필요한 경우 해당 기간 동안 보관할 수 있습니다. 위 문의 주소로 삭제를 요청할 수 있으며, 보관이 필요한 사유가 있다면 답변으로 안내합니다.
이메일 제공업체의 삭제·백업·보안 기록 처리는 해당 제공업체의 방침에 따릅니다. 삭제할 CapyStat 계정은 없습니다. hatelog는 사용자의 기기나 시스템 백업 계정에 있는 설정·측정값·백업을 원격으로 조회하거나 삭제할 수 없습니다.
8. 이용자의 권리
적용 법률에 따라 개인정보 열람, 정정, 삭제, 처리 제한·반대, 이동 및 감독기관에 대한 이의 제기 등의 권리를 행사할 수 있습니다. hatelog가 보유한 정보에 관한 요청은 위 문의 주소로 보내주세요. 요청 확인과 처리에 합리적으로 필요한 최소한의 정보만 확인하며, 적용 법률에서 정한 기한 내에 답변합니다.
9. 아동 관련 안내
앱은 아동을 포함한 사용자에게 계정 생성이나 개인정보 제출을 요구하지 않으며, 광고 또는 행동 추적 기능이 없습니다. 필요하고 법적으로 허용되는 경우가 아니라면 문의 이메일에 아동의 개인정보를 보내지 마세요. 아동의 개인정보 처리에 법정대리인의 동의가 필요한 경우 해당 동의가 필요합니다. 아동이 hatelog에 개인정보를 보냈다고 판단되면 문의해주세요. 관련 내용을 확인하여 법률상 보관이 필요한 경우를 제외하고 삭제 등 필요한 조치를 진행합니다.
이 방침은 앱 이용을 위한 최소 연령을 정하거나 앱 스토어의 이용등급·대상 연령 정보를 대신하지 않습니다.
10. 보호조치와 방침 변경
로컬 설정은 Android의 앱 전용 저장소를 사용합니다. hatelog는 문의 내용을 위 목적에 한해 사용하고 허가되지 않은 접근을 방지하기 위한 합리적인 조치를 취합니다. 보유 정보와 관련된 침해사고에 법률상 통지 의무가 발생하면 해당 법률에 따라 안내합니다.
방침이 변경되면 시행일을 갱신한 내용을 게시합니다. 향후 계정, 광고, 분석 또는 외부 전송 기능을 추가하면 실제 처리 내용을 반영하고, 법률상 필요한 고지나 동의를 진행합니다.
